I had considered this restaurant as a lunch option when heading towards Yoro Valley, but I always ended up choosing places that served sashimi, boiled fish, or grilled fish, so I had never actually visited it before. I ordered the two-item set meal. I ordered horse mackerel and red snapper, and horse mackerel and bonito, and they arranged it so that two people could share. I went there after seeing it featured online as a delicious fried horse mackerel restaurant. I went on a Sunday, about 20 minutes after opening, but there wasn't much parking. Given the location, I imagine there are a lot of people who drive. There was a motorcyclist ordering takeout, so it seems they do offer takeout. I signed up at 10am on Sunday and was 6th in line. People with reservations went in right after opening, and I was able to get in on the second round at 12pm. I ordered the mixed egg set and waited about 10 minutes. All the fried items were large and delicious. The fried horse mackerel was substantial and made for a satisfying lunch. I liked that the tartar sauce tasted homemade. They were sold out before 12pm, so I recommend making a reservation in advance or going early on the day.
