This meal was so delicious! I think we were really lucky as we only had to wait under 20 minutes for a table. The beef is soft and melts in your mouth. I really loved the flavour from cooking on charcoal. A must stop when in Kawagoe (Forgot to photograph when the lid was off, I was too excited to eat!)

An excellent dining experience. The A5 wagyu beef rice was exceptionally tender, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. The quality of the beef truly stood out. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to clearly explain the three recommended ways to enjoy the hitsumabushi, which added to the enjoyment of the meal. Communication was easy as the staff conversed comfortably in English. The ambience was pleasant and refined, making the overall experience both relaxing and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality wagyu in Kawagoe.

An outstanding wagyu specialty restaurant. I’ve dined at 和牛鉄板割烹シンラ before, and this place is even better in comparison. The wagyu quality is exceptional—tender, beautifully marbled, and full of flavor without feeling too heavy. The environment is comfortable, creating a relaxed yet premium dining experience. Service was excellent as well—attentive, professional, and well-paced throughout the meal. Overall, this restaurant delivers better beef, a better atmosphere, and better service. Highly recommended, and I would gladly return.

One of the best A5 wagyu beef dishes I’ve tried so far. The place has an old-school charm, similar to the nostalgic Little Edo atmosphere in Kawagoe. The food is excellent for the price, and I’ll definitely come back to try more items on the menu. The waitress was also very friendly, approachable, and clearly working hard.

Just look for the cow in the front! Don’t be intimidated by the small door. Just go in if the sign that you can be seated right away is up front. Ring the bell and take off your shoes if you are planning on eating here.Nice tatami floors, very welcoming staff. They will provide with an English menu if needed. The meat is unbelievably delicious!! We will be back! This restaurant alone is worth the trip to Kawagoe!
