This is the only Ichiran Ramen in Mito, and it’s open until 4am, making it a perfect late-night dining option. I visited around 2am and was surprised to see that there were still plenty of customers, which says a lot about its popularity. Compared to the Ichiran branches in larger cities like Tokyo and Osaka, this location is much more spacious, making for a more comfortable experience from the moment you walk in. Great place for ramen. Set up to appeal to single diners or introverts but went with my wife and daughter and we enjoyed it.

Not only this is one of the most popular places to enjoy ramen, it also offers a unique sitting experience where everyone has their individual booth to savor the food slowly. The whole dining experience is so interesting where no words can be heard because everyone is enjoying their ramen in silence.

The flavor fell short of the hype. Even though there is a huge queue and it is rather expensive, the ramen is worth the wait. But a must visit ramen shop.
