My recent stay at InterContinental Tokyo Bay was once again an excellent experience. Beyond the beautiful location and views, what truly differentiates this property is its people. I would especially like to recognize the breakfast team. Managing a busy morning service with such professionalism, calm precision and genuine hospitality is not easy — yet they do it effortlessly. InterContinental Tokyo Bay offers good-sized, well-appointed rooms that are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, meeting expectations for a premium hotel. However, the overall experience was significantly impacted by issues around customer satisfaction and communication. Despite paying close to 95,000 yen per night, I encountered an unexpected additional charge related to lounge access, which I acknowledge was due to my own assumption about fairness in the pricing structure. I stayed at InterContinental Tokyo, and it was such a wonderful and romantic experience. The location is perfect — everything is nearby, from shops and restaurants to convenience stores and the train station, which makes getting around so easy. The area feels elegant and peaceful at the same time, ideal for couples or anyone looking to relax and enjoy Tokyo. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with great service and attention to detail. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo. This Hotel is terrible. Located in A business area of Tokyo,, it has a great view of the Bay Bridge, but no viewing area from inside the hotel. There’s no area in this hotel, where someone can go sit quietly and read or just relax and view the scenery around the hotel. The Manhattan restaurant has a great view, but it’s only accessible by reservation and during opening hours of the restaurant. As an IHG member, I was upgraded to a room facing the city rather than the waterfront. As a IHG member I paid for my stay using points, but was told since I use points it did not include breakfast lunch
