We traveled to Tokyo as part of our trip to Japan and chose this hotel. We were absolutely thrilled! The rooms were relatively spacious by Japanese standards, and everything was clean and very modern. I also really liked the bathroom, even though I’m usually a bit more critical about those. The room was very quiet and had excellent access to Shibuya (Yamanote Line), taking about 15 minutes. We were so impressed that we spontaneously booked the hotel again on our return trip from Osaka to Tokyo. This time, the room was a “Superior Room” with a very large bed (a bit too big for our taste), but a

One of the very good hotel I’ve stayed in Japan.
Very good area and accessible to many places.
Room is clean and very well insulated. Not noisy.
The bathhouse here is very popular during the evening so usually its quite packed.
Other wise the room generally is very clean and well maintained

The integrity of the staff is unmatched. I forgot my pajamas on checkout, and they neatly folded and safely stored them for my return. It's the exact opposite of our nightmare experience at Hotel Grand Chicago Paris (17eme), where staff stole €2,

The hotel is quite close to the Gotanda JR line, with many cafes and restaurants nearby. The room is somewhat more spacious than typical Tokyo hotels. It is clean and has a fresh scent.

I have been to a few MGHs now and they are all worth the price—nice, clean hotels with a bath (usually). This one had a bath on the roof with an amazing view. Very cool. Breakfast was just ok to be honest, not as high as high quality but still fine, just nothing special (could be more options). Location is good in terms of getting to other places but it did not seem like there was much to do around the hotel besides eat (which is maybe enough!). Overall, recommend as a good place to stay near Shinagawa.
