Looks nice from the outside & modern, but not so nice once you're inside the baths. Some of the shower heads on the bathing stations are loose so the water can't be aimed towards you and essentially unusable. Even the shower heads that are usable would lose its angle and droop so you have to adjust it all the time. Some of the push faucets are cracked so the water leaks out all the time. The water temperature also fluctuates from lukewarm to very warm.

Local hot springs around Tokyo area is a chocolate coloured, but only here has a golden coloured hot spring, so I came all the way here. It took almost 2 hours from my parents' house even though I went there straight.
Hot spring was very comfortable, iI love both of them, so I definitely come again here.
Base entry fee: JPY550. (flat rate in Tokyo)

This is the 5th time I have gone here and I love going to Musashi Koyama Onsen bec the place is so clean, the staff is helpful and polite, warm and welcoming. I love that they welcome me even if I have tattoos and speak broken Japanese. Each time I come here I am renewed and refreshed. The facilities are complete. I like the massage chairs, the foot massage
machine (you need to pay a minimal amount). I like that there is a space where I can nap or meditate, have some quiet. The vendo machines are complete and choices great. The water relaxes and soothes me. I love getting a glimpse of Japa

One of my favorite onsens bec it is simple but complete. Apart from the onsen, there is a sauna, a lounge with massage chairs (100 yen for 10 min if I remember right), a foot massager. And you can nap, read your book or have your quiet time in a tatami mat area.
The staff members are friendly and helpful. The drinks are complete. I go here regularly and would recommend this to everyone.
