The full picture

Known as the largest beach bar in Texas, this expansive venue offers direct beach access, live music, and classic American fare on a massive deck.

It suits beachgoers, live music fans, and families looking for a casual spot with plenty of outdoor space.

Visit on weekdays to avoid the heavy crowds that gather during weekends and holidays.

Enjoyed a beautiful day on South Padre Island at Clayton's Beach Bar and their beach access, where we enjoyed their Taco Tuesday special with others in our group, enjoying the Fishermans Platter with beverages. What really topped off our time there was...all of the awesome sand sculptures that were still standing on tbeir beach for all to enjoy. Kudos to the artists 👏👏👏! Their creations were extremely a sight to see!!

Decent food and great location. The only really bad part is the service. Ordering at a counter is fine, but the people working that counter should have some personality and actually care about the customer. Ashley is especially terrible, which is a shame because I actually liked eating here this week. It's one thing to ask for a tip up front, but then when you have terrible service all around it ruins the experience. I'm glad I won't have the chance to eat here again.

Margaritas, live music, and the beach just steps away? Yes, please! 🍹🎶🏝️ I’m normally not a ground beef nachos person, but these changed my mind (the jalapeños definitely leveled them up! 🌶️). Since I stopped by for lunch, the vibe was super chill and family-friendly. The perfect pre- or post-beach pit stop.

Biggest beach bar in Texas and the best place to go to enjoy a day on the beach with music and a few drinks if you want. They have a huge parking lot, a huge deck both covered and uncovered and a bunch of friendly bartenders willing to make your favorite drink. I like the fact there's no charge to get to the beach and you can walk in any direction. They have a long boardwalk in process of being built. The restrooms available are adequate and relatively clean. They seem to have live music most afternoons. It's our favorite Beach spot on South Padre Island.
