手打そば 百丈 was a wonderful discovery while planning our Kawagoe itinerary after seeing it recommended on TikTok. Visiting was perfectly timed—it started snowing on our way to Kawagoe, making a bowl of hot soba exactly what we needed. Honestly, this place deserves more than five stars. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like home. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel comfortable. They even have an English menu available, which we really appreciated. The hot soba was comforting and flavorful, and the tempura paired perfectly with it—light, crisp, and not gr

First time visiting this restaurant. Was looking for soba stall around kawagoe. The soba was great! Tempura from the tempura soba set was fresh. Soba noodles texture was great. Nishin soba was tasty too! And I really appreciate the kind lady communicated by writing down in english for us and even wrote down instructions on how to drink sobayu. Thank you for the meal!!! My mum and I enjoyed the meal! Hope I have said it right just now! ごちそうさまでした

The wonderful aroma and great atmosphere is matched by the excellent food. They were very helpful by recommending soba dumplings since all the soba noodles have komugi (wheat). Not sure if the tasty sauce was safe (gluten free) but it was very good. The soba noodles smell great and the soup was a big hit. It shared its love back is a cute heart. Please eat here to keep them busy so they are here and I can have more soba dumplings next time we visit. :-)

This place is a very good soba! After you eat cold soba with soy sauce, asking them for boiled soba water. You can pour boiled water in the soy sauce them drink it as a tea! That's awesome! 🍵
