This log cabin-style coffee shop sits on the shores of Lake Takataki.
I ordered a drip coffee made with Brazilian Chocolat beans (700 yen).
It had a deep, full-bodied taste, like a blend.
It had a strong chocolate-like aroma and flavor, but
it had a clean, comforting taste with reduced bitterness.
The cheesecake (550 yen) was baked, with a nice balance of not being too rich.
The Showa-era coffee shop style, with garnishes like pear compote and cream, is great.
The coffee selected by the owner and the cake were a perfect match!
The interior had a warm, woody atmosphere, with the sound of leis

You can see Lake Takataki from inside the shop, and the interior is also lovely, so I found myself looking around in amazement. Time seemed to flow slowly, and I was able to enjoy my tea in peace! Shoes are not allowed inside the shop. You take off your shoes before the door and change into the slippers provided inside. I heard a cat meowing from somewhere... I hope I can see it next time.

It was fantastic!
I enjoy visiting cafes and have been to many in Tokyo and Chiba, but this one was incredibly comfortable, surrounded by nature, with cats, and excellent service... I truly felt like it existed to soothe its customers. Apparently, they even have concerts with musical instruments in the evenings, and I felt it was a warm and welcoming cafe blessed with wonderful people.
I ordered the blueberry cheese pie and lemon lassi, both made with local blueberries.
The blueberry cheese pie had a soft, chewy texture. The blueberries were large and had a great texture; it was delicious.
