Starbucks Reserve Roastery 星巴克臻选上海烘焙工坊

Starbucks Reserve Roastery Shanghai was much more than normal Starbucks. The space is huge and very impressive, almost like coffee theme park. I liked walking around, seeing the coffee roasting, different counters, merchandise, and special drinks. It was busy, but still fun because there is so much to look at. Coffee was good and the atmosphere had strong Shanghai energy. 普通のスタバじゃないです. Even if you are not big Starbucks fan, I think it is worth visiting once because it is an experience, not only coffee shop.

This used to be the world’s largest Starbucks Reserve Roastery, so naturally it is very touristy and always busy. The space is huge, with several different sections for drinks and food, including a bakery area with a wide selection of pastries and bread. There is also a Bar Mixato on the second floor. The roastery itself is really impressive to see in person. One of the coolest parts was watching the coffee beans being transported through the large overhead tubes across the store to different coffee stations. This was my final stop on my world tour of Disney & starbucks and this did not disappoint.. However it was busy and soo many people made it difficult to actually get good merch you loved since the employees felt like they were rushing me ! I visit starbucks all over the world and take hours picking out close to 1k USD worth of product at each reserve for me to collect and distribute to my family. I was middle of shopping and the employees felt kept trying to ring me up ! This was a bit frustrating as I was still looking. Also when he rang me up he asked if I want the personalized !!!! This huge 2-storey Starbucks is spacious, beautifully designed and feels more like a coffee destination than a regular café. We ordered the Chocolate Croissant and Shanghai Nostalgia coffee, both of which were enjoyable. There’s plenty of seating, a great atmosphere and interesting coffee-roasting displays throughout the store. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, especially since it’s located just opposite the LV “The Louis” ship.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Nanjing Road was the first coffee place we visited in Shanghai. It was located next to the boat-shaped Louis Vuitton flagship store. The Starbucks was huge - a beautifully designed, two-story modern building. In the center, next to the stairs leading to the second floor, there was an interactive and theatrical coffee roastery. One unusual thing about the menu was the coffee-infused beer. Of course, we had to order it! That day was an exception; instead of our regular coffee, we had beer in the afternoon.
