Daytime is best for the full shopping experience and restaurant access, though toilets and vending machines are available 24/7.

Fabulous toilet, very spacious. After midnight though, lots of cars flashing headlights. I had an eye mask so it didn’t disturb. A lovely real bean coffee vending machine. We got here too late to try the cafe, but the shop was lovely with lots of fresh vegetables. A much needed stop after slowly crossing Tokyo in our hired Campervan.

Lots of different things from the surrounding area too purchase, and loads of samples too. Restaurant/food selection was pretty limited though. I had something from a food truck out front. The wife (lots of food allergies) was going to try something from the other food truck, but they didn't have the item she could have (although it was pictures in a banner ad).

I had high hopes for this roadside station because the others I've been at were great... This one was great for shopping. Lots of Chiba area specialties (of course lots of peanut stuff). But restaurants were lacking. There was one restaurant inside, and two for trucks outside. My wife has allergies, and nothing really would work for her except one of the advertised on a banner of the food truck items. So happens they did not have that item (though they leave the banner up). So, for shopping, there stars. 2 taken away for the food selection. I did have a wild boar burger from the other food

Make sure to come here if you're in Chiba! The rest stop has all the best food and souvenirs from around Kisaritsu. The peanut paste for sale there is a local specialty, and they get shipments directly from farmers. Fresh vegetables, seasonal wild herbs, delicious eggs and dairy products are all lined up. The restaurant right next door has great food and it's filling. I can't recommend this place enough!

There’s a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits that you can buy, peanuts and a lot of peanuts products too. You can buy breads and foods too. A lot of souvenir foods too. Staffs are nice. Highly recommended to stop over.
