I wanted to eat sardine sashimi Don but they did not have it in sashim for the day. So I had sardine tempura. They offer a lunch set at ¥1500 of 2 different choices of mains and it is very good value.

Real local place, at lunch there is a line for high quality affordable specials. I think the owner has been involved with it for 40 years. Pride in using local caught fish. I went for dinner and had excellent Ohmakase set. And a few other items. Would love to return.

Came on a Monday and there was already a little bit of wait. A Seafood place loved by locals with really cheap Lunch deals (choose 2main dishes +rice+miso soup+ pickles for ¥1,200) and other sets including sea food tempura and assorted sashimi all about ¥1,200~¥1,500. The food was plenty and delicious, they also serve dishes in which you leave to the chef to choose what’s the best catch of the day.

This Japanese-style izakaya is known for its fresh sardines. It might be difficult to use if you cannot sit cross-legged.

Small shop for locals. All kind of lunch sets at reasonable price. Excellent choices of seafood. Tasty.
