We walked from Anfu Road towards Wukang Mansion. The surrounding streets and buildings along the way were very photogenic, with lots of nice European style architecture and a pleasant vibe.
Wukang Mansion is definitely one of the iconic landmarks in Shanghai, so the area was extremely crowded. It is nice to see in person, but honestly nothing too special to me, mainly just a quick photo stop.
We also checked out the popular bakery just a few steps away, but it was super packed as well (visited on a Saturday), so be prepared to queue if you plan to buy anything.
