Halal Indian food. Tasted good but was quite expensive, it cost around £22 just for 3 pieces of lamb chops.

Vedas restaurant is in heart of shanghai city and one of the best Indian food we had during our stay in shanghai. We ordered various meals and all were cooked pretty well.
Restaurant ambience is ok and they have kept it slightly dark but nothing to complain.
The staff was found not very welcoming. The prices were in higher side and maybe the staff had a feel that we may not have dinner after seeing the menu. Anyway the restaurant was almost empty when we r tired so the best they could have done is welcome the guests and arrange seats as per our choice.

Everything about our dinner at Vedas was so good.
Service was superfast and courteous.
Food was delicious. We had paratha, Dal makhni and Biryani.

The food is average and what made me more angry that when I requested the server to give me the bill, he is giving me order slip as the bill and until I told him that I need official bill at any cost, that’s when he told me that it’s online and I have to fill up details. I don’t know what was stopping him but he was telling me that since last 20 years he only giving this order bill as official receipt of payment.. weird

It's 6.30 trying to find indian restaurants and plan to go to vedas restaurants, when I get there not able to find location and trying to call but its phone number is not working. So please don't waste your time.
