The room was exactly as advertised with great amenities - we literally could have shown a up without anything and been fine. The location wasn't amazing, right beside the station and tokyu with housed not only a super marketing but also a Starbucks, book store, excellent shopping, a dollar store (where everything was literally a dollar) and restaurants. Excellent, one of my favorite place to stay in Japan especially with family (this is my second time stay in this hotel with family room) Their family room is big, allowed kids under 6years old to stay free. No husttle from checkin and checkout, just few meter to the JR line that exactly infront of the hotel, down stair have family mart and many restaurant nearby. Hotel provides washing machine and microwave. They clean the room daily, staff is friendly and allow you to storage the luggage in the hotel.

Super Convenient Location with Great Amenities I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Gotanda Station and really enjoyed the overall experience. The location is incredibly convenient — the hotel is right across from Gotanda Station, making it extremely easy to travel anywhere in Tokyo. Visited during weekdays (the weekday price is very affordable!) Availed the standard double room (non-smoking) It has the need for a solo traveler such as the shower, comfy bed, high speed internet, nearby convenience store (Family mart), Restaurant. It is also very near the JR Gotanda station. The sound of the trains can be heard for a bit if your room is placed facing the station, but it can be ignored as white noise. (Train sound stops as well by past midnight) Definitely recommended!

We stayed in a room on the second floor, and the experience was very disappointing. Upon entering, the room had a strong unpleasant odor. When we opened the restroom door, the smell was even worse—truly unbearable. I reported the issue to the front desk, but was informed that no alternative rooms were available. The only solution offered was a 30-minute housekeeping service. Unfortunately, even after the additional cleaning, the odor remained unchanged.
