Daimaru Tokyo

I purchased a bottle of "Dassai 23" at a very low price of 6,500 yen from the sake shop located in the basement of the Daimaru department store at Tokyo Station. They offered ice packs for 100 yen each, ensuring I could transport the sake while keeping it cool. The staff member at the counter was very friendly and took great care in wrapping the bottle securely. Tax-free shopping is available on the 12th floor. To get to Narita Airport, I took the LCT bus—located just a minute away—and the entire experience was perfect.

The basement levels of Japanese department stores are truly amazing. You can find just about anything there, and all the food is delicious.

Super convenient - close to Yaesu gate of Tokyo station if you’re getting in on JR lines or Shinkansen. The food halls on ground floor and B1 are just packed with the most beautiful cakes, desserts etc and they will package it up nicely for gifting or put a little raincoat on it if it’s raining.
