Shinagawa Prince Hotel

Hotel located just a 1-minute walk from Shinagawa Station (subway lines and Shinkansen trains). It features three towers with guest rooms and business areas, as well as several on-site restaurants offering a range of price options. The rooms are spotless and equipped with everything you need, and there are vending machines on every floor for drinks. The staff is very courteous and efficient. Nothing to complain about — a more than perfect stay for business. I highly recommend it.

I would like to share a detailed review that may help future travelers. The first impression upon arriving at Shinagawa Prince Hotel is its grand scale — the hotel is huge! The check-in process was smooth, and we were assisted by an extremely friendly receptionist (it may have helped that I spoke Japanese). We stayed in a corner room on the 25th floor, as we were a party of three. The elevators are large and operated with the room key card — once you tap it, your floor is automatically activated, which is very convenient. Rooms were small, but thats standard Japanese hotel sizes. The carpet and walls were old and had stains. Location was good, right across from Shinagawa Station. Housekeeping and amenities were good, and they give you free water everytime they clean your room. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were very helpful. Not bad for the price.

Very big rooms, great views. The bathroom in my room of the annex tower was a little dated however. Some better signage on the floor or something would help navigate the kinda confusing building somewhat. Plenty of shops, restaurants, activities all within the complex, and the station is a 2 min walk. Overall, an excellent stay, would definitely use again.

Incredibly disappointed in this hotel. I’m not sure which rooms are pictured on booking sites because what I got, isn’t that. Pool has been closed since 2024, rooms are very dated….like 1980 dated and grungy. No onsen. Have to wait for elevators. Construction all around the hotel, no other restaurants or shops in the area. Would not recommend. There are plenty of better hotels close to major train stations.
