It’s a place that’s definitely worth visiting. From the parking lot, it takes less than a minute to walk to the shrine. As soon as you arrive, you’ll see stairs leading down toward the opposite side where the famous Kamiiso no Torii is located. It’s not far—just right across—but on the way back, you’ll need to climb a fairly long flight of stairs. The spot is especially well-known for its beautiful sunsets.

Oarai Isosaki Shrine is a really beautiful place! ⛩️ I especially liked the torii gate standing right in the ocean. 🌊 The views were quite scenic and peaceful. It's definitely worth a visit to experience the unique coastal atmosphere. 😌📸

Love it. Was lucky that there was an event that day where we got to see pouding mochi and also got a free tasting.

It is a peaceful place, there was not much crowd or tourist. Maybe it's because I went around 4pm. The charm shop is close at 4:30pm if I'm not mistaken. You are advised to go there early.

Peaceful and beautiful, this shrine is one of my favorites I visited. The stairs might be a little much for some, but I enjoyed the hike! The view towards the ocean is breathtaking and the shrine itself is gorgeous. Would recommend for anyone visiting Oarai!
