Wanted to experience rural Japan, opted to take the train out to Choshi for a few nights, and it was worth it.
On the ocean taking it all in.
Sadly my night time cell phone pics didn't turn out as well as I hoped....should have brought my other camera and tripod. Its a magnificent spot to watch the moon rise at night and the sunrise in the morning.
I get to say I've seen a sunset on the pacific in Tofino and a sunrise on the pacific from Inubo.

Very relaxing area. I've been here three times this year. You can take a walk or sit by the shore. I think pets are allowed as well. It's ¥200-300 yen to go on the lighthouse to view. You have to go up narrow stairs, when I went up the lighthouse it was super windy and raining not like in the pictures. It was fun for me. No time limit after you first enter.

You can climb the lighthouse. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the sea and Choshi. It is a little scary because it is so high, but the view is beautiful. There is also an exhibition room.
