We had a truly wonderful stay at The Westin Tokyo. From the very first email before our arrival to the moment we checked out, everything was handled with such care and professionalism.
A very special thank you to Manuel and the concierge team, who went above and beyond to help us with restaurant reservations, luggage forwarding, and even receiving a package at the hotel. Their support made our trip incredibly smooth as we continued on to Hakuba and Kyoto. One of the shabu-shabu restaurants they booked for us ended up being one of the best meals we had in Japan.
The hotel itself is beautiful,

I think the only people who stay here are Marriott Bonvoy members. Given how extensive Tokyo’s train network is, I’m not sure why anyone would choose to stay at a hotel that’s a 10-minute walk from the nearest station.
This is also a really old hotel that feels like it’s stuck in the 1990s. Parts of the hotel, such as the club lounge, look refreshed, but the rooms feel very dated.
The Westin brand used to be very focused on wellness, but I found the gym here to be sorely lacking. It’s rather small and not very well-equipped, with a very odd layout.

This was our 4th time staying at The Westin Tokyo, and it continues to be one of our most convenient and favorite places to stay. We truly love the hotel’s classic old-world charm, which gives it a timeless elegance that is becoming harder to find.
We were hoping for an early check-in since it was accommodated during our previous visit. However, due to the UK Prime Minister visiting the area, the hotel was extremely busy and early check-in was not available this time. Despite this, the service remained impeccable. The staff handled everything professionally, warmly, and with great attention t

We just finished up a 6 night stay and had a phenomenal experience. The rooms are incredibly spacious for Tokyo standards (roomy and easy to maneuver within even with our 4 suitcases and 2 backpacks). While the building looks outdated, the decor in room is elegant and reminiscent of our stay at the Ritz Osaka.
Service is also top notch. Manuel at the Concierge desk provided great dinner recommendations and assisted in securing reservations. Kosuke at the front desk was also a great resource, helping me relocate a lost phone in a taxi on amidst the bustle of New Year's Eve. Will be staying her

This is an absolutely outstanding hotel. As a Titanium Bonvoy member who spends 200+ nights a year in Marriott hotels and others, the service in this hotel is superior.
Every employee here makes you feel special and important. Two people to mention specifically is Park with Guest Services who made sure my stay was perfection. He even made a special point to introduce himself to me and my wife to ensure everything was perfect. It was! And Manuel from Spain at Concierge. Very knowledgeable and so kind. He made sure every question was answered and all was understood.
The breakfast is great! Eve
