This legendary Xuhui institution is a cornerstone of authentic Shanghainese home-style cooking, famous for its rich, sweet, and savory traditional dishes.
It suits small groups and foodies looking for a classic, no-frills local dining experience rather than a fine-dining atmosphere.
Peak lunch and dinner hours are consistently busy, making early arrivals or late seatings a safer bet for those without a booking.
💡 Reservations are highly recommended to avoid long waits, and be prepared to stay firm on your order as staff may encourage over-ordering.

• A very famous local Shanghainese restaurant.

This old school Shanghainese restaurant is a must-visit for tourists. It has been around forever and price is very reasonable. Reservation is a must.
