Indian Kitchen

We were looking for an Indian cuisine and came across this restaurant. The food was not bad, Tandoori chicken was good. We tried Malai chicken which was ok. The lemon rice was satisfactory and chicken curry needs improvement. The breads were unfortunately served 10 minutes after the food was served.

A wonderful Indian dining experience in Shanghai. Authentic flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and a menu that truly represents the richness of Indian cuisine. The food was fresh, aromatic, and beautifully presented. The staff was courteous and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A great place for anyone craving real Indian food in the heart of the city. Highly recommended.

Food poisoning, faulty meat, and shocking service — avoid I visited Indian Kitchen on 27th April for dinner expecting authentic South Indian food and instead had one of the worst restaurant experiences of my travel career. The food: I ordered mutton vindaloo, which arrived bearing no resemblance to vindaloo — wrong flavour profile entirely, and more concerningly, the meat itself smelled and tasted off. I tested only one piece and immediately knew something was wrong with it. I did not eat the dish. Hours later I am now suffering symptoms of food poisoning back at my hotel. The tandoori pomfre

Pretty much middle of the road. Mysore masala dosa was kinda dry… masala wasn’t all that great either. Chutney was very 😑. Vadas were perfect size. Expected them to be crispier on the outside and airy on the inside but they were neither. Not utterly disappointing and nothing to rave about either. Hence the middle of the road 3 ⭐️

After 2 weeks in China, it was time for some indian food and this did not disappoint. It was our most expensive meal in China, it costs 271 yuan.
