Cozy Taiwanese breakfast spot in Tokyo 🇹🇼 I went around 9:30 a.m. on a weekday. There were already a few people in line, and it took about 20 minutes before I could place my order. Since seating is only available after ordering, some people were waiting near the cashier as well. Luckily, we were able to get seats right away. I tried the traditional soy milk soup and a sesame-filled grilled dumpling. Both were just as good as what I’ve had in Taipei—maybe even better on a cold winter morning in Tokyo. I’ll definitely come back to try other dumplings, and maybe get some takeout too 👌

This is a Must Go, if Chinese breakfast is your thing. One of the best bowls of Salty soy milk I've ever had. Odd to find this Gem in Tokyo. It's like they have the Authentic Chinese taste paired with the Japanese refinement. All their stuff is made in house, which makes it more amazing. Their fan tuan was legitimately the best I've ever had. The cruller was well dried and crispy, lots of pickled vegetables and even egg.

I got in at 8:45 am (9am opening) thinking I’d be ahead of any line but it turned out there were already 30 groups ahead of me. You print out a QR code and then can wait until they notify you via email. The service is efficient with a limited menu. Not that much places to sit so you may have to wait. The food quality is great; def more “Japanese” in the sense they use less oil and flavoring but it was still very delicious and made me miss Taiwan. The price / portion is actually really good and can have a full stomach after 1500 yen. Again, the menu isn’t as broad as any typical Taiwanese br

I expected the bun to be served warm, but it was good nonetheless! The soup is not too salty, and you can adjust the sweetness of the soy milk. The black sesame bun was packed full, and it had some saltiness to it so it's not all too sweet.

This shop is so popular that by the time I arrived there (The shop opened at 9), there were already 21 groups waiting before me. You basically arrive and grab a ticket which will tell you your number. You don’t need to stay there. Just scan the QR code and check how many people have been served and if you turn is coming up. The shop is constantly full while I was there. Being in this shop somewhat brought me back to small restaurants in Taiwan. Though the flavour is not 100% authentic, it successfully recreated the essence of the flavours. I enjoyed the mild flavours (in comparison to the str
