People comes to this ramen to: 1 .- eat delicious ramen 2.- to SHOUTED by the owner (but is part of the experience) Long story short, I saw there was a line of 5, so I bought a ticket (usually there's line of 40 or more). I followed the Japanese people just put myself in the line. Suddenly out of nowhere the owner started to Shout out loud and japanese people get panic, I just followed and we end in a corner making the line. Again suddenly the owner started to shout again and people from the line told me YOU ENTER, I said you first and everyone started to said NO NO YOU YOU, I was "why me 😳"

This was my first bowl of Jiro ramen in Tokyo and it didn't disappoint. It was exactly what I was expecting but the noodles were the real show stopper. They were probably my favorite of the whole trip. Perfectly cooled, perfectly chewy. I almost took a star off for the chopped tough chasu but it still had good flavor. The energy of this place is amazing and I think it's a must stop if you are on a ramen crawl.

Came here on a Friday around lunch. Wait wasn't too bad, maybe 10 minutes. Traditional vending machine style ordering. Menu is pretty simple -- you basically only have a few choices based on how much noodles you want and whether you want the chunks of pork or not. Range is between 500 and 800 yen. FYI, there is no English, and I'm not sure anyone there was able to speak it, so be prepared to know a little Japanese (or come with a native). Anyway, the ramen was so-so. You get a ton of food, and the broth/meat is super rich, but the taste is one-note and pretty greasy. Noodles were good though,

I don’t know why there’s a lot of foreigners complaining about the shop. I assume you don’t know what kind of ramen 二郎 is and the atmosphere it creates. The ramen is famous for its junkness, volume and some side orders you make right before you get ramen. (Garlic, fat, vege and original sauce). Moreover, you can’t complain about the quality of the services and the cleanliness of the restaurant because that’s how it is since the shop opened. They don’t need to fix those aspects, people never stops coming lol I’ve been to 富士丸 and ラーメン大 but this ramen here was beyond my expectations among 二

The food tastes fantastic. It is pretty cheap ($7 for a huge bowl of ramen with extra pork). Appearance-wise it’s a little rough and ready, full of single men and with a huge queue outside. Nevertheless, it’s great food.
