Tower Records Shibuya

Amazing place where the records of all possible genres can be found!!! Very well thought on floor arrangement for customers’ convenience. Located in Shibuya, it is not difficult to get to this wonderful store at all. The shop offers just many many records, and they even claim that they are the biggest classical music records collection in the world, and I agree!!! I am very happy that in digital age like today, the businesses that promote physical records like Tower Records are still going strong.

quite an array of new and old and a mix of different artists with a decent price, the vinyls were all split quite well into genres with arranged by letter of artists as well. I personally purchased 26k worth of items and was well worth it! walking and perusing was an experience :^) wished for better deals anyways

Came here for the first time specifically for the vinyl floor (Level 6). Massive variety of anime titles, picked up Spirited Away soundtrack and Linkin Park Hybrid Theory. The staff are great and happy to help. Buying tax-free was a breeze at the Level 3 counter. (Don’t forget your passport) Overall a very chill, easy shopping experience!

Crazy experience! It was so amazing to finally be in Tower Records and you could tell how seriously important Japan takes their music. To have a dedicated huge ambient section featuring the finest artists around the world is something you do not get to experience everyday. There was a signing session and everything was really stimulating in a good way. Staff were so nice and welcoming.

Incredible place ! I didn’t know it existed before going to Japan ! There are so many artists featured there, among them are my favorites that I’ve know ever since I was a kid : Ado, Eve, Tuki., and so many more ! If you are a Jpop fan like myself PLEASE do not miss this place ! I went home happy and with 2 Ado albums (one piece red & her utaite album). I definitely recommend this place !
