Hotel is gorgeous! Staff is less impressive…
The non-Japanese staff need some more training. Some of them were arrogant and not too polite.
Breakfast is fine, but hotel in this level that replied a simply NO to the request to have only an egg-white omelette, is pretty much unacceptable in this age.
At the executive lounge, all other guests received a nice warm OSHIBORI (wet towel), got a cheap one time use napkin…
Hope this hotel will re-open again in the future, and hopefully with better service, and higher standards of hospitality.

The hotel is beautiful, room was very spacious and comfortable, every possible detail thought of. Our room had ample closet space for a family of 4, gorgeous washroom with every possible toiletry provided (including face cleanser, toner, lotion, face masks - amazing quality). We loved the extra touches like comfortable bathrobes and pyjamas, the nice aroma throughout the hotel. The breakfast spread was amazing - do not miss it. We like the quite location away from the hustle and bustle but still very easy to get everywhere and access subway/trains.

We had the most incredible stay at Hotel GAJOEN Tokyo—truly the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail is thoughtfully designed in stunning Japanese style, creating such a peaceful and elegant atmosphere.
Our room was exceptionally spacious, perfect for our family, and having a private steam room and jacuzzi in every room was such a special touch. We also loved spending time in the lounge, especially during happy hour—the food and drinks were amazing!
The service, the ambiance, and the overall experience were unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

5-star hotel experience. Uniquely beautiful hotel, particularly the common areas on the ground floor (including traditional Japanese garden) but also the rooms. It appears to be used frequently as a wedding venue (for good reason) but the wedding venue rooms appeared to be on different floors of the building so were not very noticeable. Location (Meguro) is somewhat away from the more central parts of Tokyo but easy enough to get around by metro/train.

I went for the museum exhibition. I thought it was interesting, but not as interesting as it's made out to be. If you're in the area it's a nice little stop but I wouldn't go far out of my way to go again
